Shropshire 1 Sports Day Teams

These teams may be different from the colours worn in Reception sports day but will remain the same now until your child leaves Southborough in Year 6. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Week beginning Monday 16th June

This week has been a very busy and exciting week for Shropshire 1. Not only have we had a busy week with reading and maths, practising for sports day and getting prepared for the Art Festival, we also went on our Year 1 trip to the beautiful Penshurst Place. 

The children enjoyed a wonderful day of activities linked to our history topic - the Victorian Era! The children enjoyed playing with Victorian style toys, handling Victorian artefacts, a Victorian toy exhibition and even made their own Victorian style toy. Shropshire 1 were well behaved, polite and curious. We had a great afternoon exploring the grounds including a nature hunt in the woodland trail and a walk through the lovely gardens. Reading
