School Uniform

School Uniform

We feel that school uniform is very important and would ask you to help us in ensuring that your child is dressed in the correct school uniform. It helps create a corporate spirit, together with a sense of belonging and identity; more generally it reflects the tone and ethos of the school. Items of uniform are listed below with the School name and logo on, along with some optional extras such as school fleeces and coats are available from Brigade (click on the link above). We request that all Reception children bring in an apron and have a School Book Bag. Please ensure that all items of school uniform are clearly named.
Boys Girls

Winter (Terms 2, 3 & 4)

Grey trousers

White shirt/polo shirt or school polo shirt with the school logo (optional).

School sweatshirt jumper with logo or school knitted jumper with logo.             

Black or grey socks                                                                                                                                                               

Winter (Terms 2, 3 & 4)

Navy skirt or pinafore dress or trousers

White blouse/polo shirt or school polo shirt with the school logo (optional).

School sweatshirt jumper/cardigan with logo or school knitted jumper/cardigan with logo.

Summer (Terms 1, 5 & 6)

Grey shorts or trousers

Short-sleeved white shirt/polo shirt or school polo shirt with the school logo (optional).

Black or grey socks

School cap or legionnaires hat

For both boys and girls, appropriate dark coloured school shoes should be worn, no open-toed sandals or trainers.

For health & safety reasons, only small plain stud earrings are permitted to be worn, but please note that Kent insist that all earrings must be removed, by the child, for P.E. sessions or covered by tape (brought in from home) again by the child. Long hair must be tied back.

Hair should be a natural colour and coloured hair dyes are not allowed in school.

Nails should be natural in appearance and short in length.  Painted nails are not allowed in school.

Children are not allowed to wear spectacles for P.E. sessions, or in the playground unless we have written permission from you.
