Year 4 Handball Competition at St Greg’s School- Wednesday 3^rd May

Well done to the Year 4 Handball team who played their first competition at St Greg’s this week against some excellent competition. In our pool we had Claremont, Temple Grove and St Matthews. We started really strongly with some great shooting from Joseph, Ava and Milo and passing from Alfred and Colton. In the end we drew against Claremont 4-4 in an extremely close game. We then played Temple Grove with Henry and Colton making some fantastic runs down the wing and Finn playing brilliantly in goal. We were unlucky not to win with the final score being 5-4 to Temple Grove in a close-run game. In the final match we played St Matthews and again played really well with Ava and Finn playing brilliantly supported by Joseph. Our last game was against a very well drilled Hildenborough where we lost 5-2 but the pupils can be proud of their performances throughout the evening.
