Rugby Development

In term 2 and through the academic year 2024-2025 our Tunbridge Wells Rugby Community Development  Officer Ben Whale will be working with our pupils in Years 5 and 6 to develop their throwing, catching, passing and to invade space through the game of Tag Rugby. Ben is an expert in Rugby who currently leads the TWRFC 1st XV team. Ben brings a range of skills to help our pupils develop these fundamental key skills to enhance their performance in sport. Ben is also supporting Rugby reading and class literacy to groups throughout the school day to further support their learning. 

Ben will also be signposting our pupils to potential opportunities at Tunbridge Wells RFC to help further their development and opportunities.
