This week in Norfolk 1:

Week beginning Wednesday 1/9/2026

The children have settled into Norfolk Class really well and have had a fantastic first week. It has been wonderful to see them engaging so positively, confidently putting their hands up and showing such enthusiasm for exploring their learning.

In PSHE, we explored our class rules and discussed what makes a good friend. Together, we created our very own list of class rules that we will follow throughout the year.

In Geography, we explored human and physical features. The children enjoyed getting creative and representing these features using LEGO, playdough, drawing and painting.

We have loved exploring the children's home learning this week. It has been wonderful to see all of the fantastic drawings, scrapbooks and other creative pieces that have been brought in. If you haven't brought yours in yet, please feel free to send it in over the course of the next week — we would absolutely love to see it!

We have also started creating our very own class pledge, which we are looking forward to sharing with guardians at our next Open Classroom.
