Cheshire have enjoyed a lovely final full week together!

 

In English, the children designed their own circus tents and circus acts to perform! They will be writing a narrative about a trip to the circus. 

 

In Maths, they completed their learning on telling the time. In History, they learnt about Samuel Wilderspin, a significant figure in Victorian times. 

 

Next week, the children will be getting hands-on in DT and cooking lessons by making a salad and a sandwich. They will be practising important food preparation skills, including chopping, slicing, and mashing.

 

It has been a wonderful year teaching your children and seeing them progress and achieve. We have loved getting to know them and look forward to seeing them continue to flourish in Year 2. 

 

Thank you so much for your continued support throughout the year. We hope you all have a wonderful, restful summer holiday!

  • Computing Coding Game We have been using this game in our computing lessons; discussing algorithms and how we can make choices on the computer. Here is the link as the children wanted the option of continuing at home.
