Curriculum Overview
Forest School- Term 2
Please note on a Thursday afternoon this term, Cheshire 1 will have Forest School; they will need to wear long-sleeve, warm clothes with wellies and mud suits.
Week 2
W/C 5/11/25
This week in Cheshire 1, the children have been busy with lots of exciting learning!
In Maths, they have been comparing amounts using the terms more, less and the same.
In English, they enjoyed reading The Jolly Postman and even received a special letter from Goldilocks apologising for her actions! Inspired by this, the children wrote their own letters from Baby Bear to Goldilocks.
In Geography, they explored three different settlements; villages, towns and cities. We discussed what amenities these settlements would have and their sizes in comparison with one another.
The children had great fun in Science drawing around each other and labelling the outline with different body parts.
Please note that PE is on Friday and on Thursday afternoon we have Forest School.
