Curriculum Overview
w/c 8th September
Another fantastic week of learning in Cheshire 1!
- English: We've been wondering what we could make from eggboxes, and the children drew and labelled their ideas before making them from eggboxes which was great fun! Cheshire also discussed what would happen if we had a dragon in our classroom! They then had fun pretending to be dragons!
- Maths: We've been investigating sorting objects, and are looking at counting and representing objects using counters, cubes and other manipulatives.
- Science: We learned about natural materials and what they are used for before going on a natural materials hunt around the school.
- Art: Last week the children identified and used primary colours before enjoying colour mixing to make secondary colours. This week we used this knowledge to create a colour wheel which the children thoroughly enjoyed!
We've had a brilliant time learning and exploring. You can see some of our adventures in the photos below.

This Term PE will be on Thursday and Friday.
