Another fabulous week of learning in Berkshire!

This week in our English lessons, the children had great fun drawing and describing their own monsters and writing a narrative of how they encountered them! The children came up with some great adjectives and alliteration in their writing and we are looking forward to seeing what Bo gets up to next!

In Maths we have been using number lines to subtract, finding the difference and finding related facts, for example, 5+2=7, 2+5=7.

In DT, the children learned how to do a running stitch and join two pieces of material together. I was so impressed with their determination and perseverance.

In Science, we discussed deciduous and evergreen trees and the differences between them. It was lovely to see the children point them out when playing on the playground!

Last Friday afternoon we had great fun in our 'Sparking Imagination' lesson. The children wanted to find out more about Hever Castle and enjoyed making castles out of boxes, wooden blocks, magnetic tiles as well as creating shields! It was lovely to see their creativity and imagination come to life.

Well done Berkshire for working so hard this week!

Please note as from w/c 12th January, PE will now be on Wednesday mornings and Thursday afternoons. Please ensure PE kits are brought in on Monday, they will go home on Friday. Thank you.
