OUR PLANET
TA Storytime in Term 5 will be centred around 'Our Planet'. We have selected a range of stories from all corners of the world. These beautiful stories have been selected from the Discovery Centre from three special sections; our environment section which lies under Rainforest leaves and vibrant birds made by the children, our STEM section which is placed next to a stunning display of a tree made with the help of our 3D printer, and our Globalisation section which is situated amongst the calming blues of the origami boats that float down from the ceiling. These stories will ignite powerful conversations about looking after Planet Earth and showcase how wonderfully diverse our world is.
Praise the Lord from the earth, you great sea creatures and all deeps, fire and hail, snow and mist, stormy wind fulfilling his word!
- Psalm 146:
'The Earth is what we all have in common.'
- Wendell Berry
'There is a pleasure in the pathless woods. There is a rapture on the lonely shore. There is society, where none intrudes by the deep sea, and music in its roar. I love not man the less, but nature more.'
- Lord Byron
