It’s the end of another week, which means there are fewer than 2 weeks to go until the end of term! This is a special time that you will remember in the future, so make the most of it: give your highest effort to everything you do, put your best foot forward, and embrace these last few weeks of primary school, whether you are learning at home or in school. When you look back, you will be glad that you tried your best and made the most of everything.
This week I have been thinking about gratitude, as I read about a challenge to list 50 things you’re thankful for. At first it seems like a lot, but then it gets easier and easier as you realise all the elements of life that we might take for granted on a normal day. Things as simple as listening to a favourite piece of music, watching a tree sway in the wind, or eating delicious food are all experiences to appreciate, and when you start noticing every enjoyable moment, finding 50 (or more) becomes effortless!
Well done to those of you who are continuing to submit your STEM, English and maths assignments. They are always interesting to read, and it is so wonderful to see how you have all progressed in your learning throughout the year. Although we won’t have any more TEAMs chats, I will call all of you today (Friday), and again one day next week. I hope you have a lovely weekend and find many things that you are grateful for.
