Southborough C of E Primary School

Christ Church

Our school works closely with Christ Church which can be found next door to our school site.

Throughout the school children have the opportunity to visit the church, ask questions and participate in various acts of worship such as our Christmas and Easter Service. Parents are invited to attend these services.

We also have a range of visitors from local churches and other faith groups to enhance the RE curriculum. Children are taught to empathise with different people in the community and understand the important role they play in making people special and unique.

As a Church of England School we are inspected by Rochester Diocese under the National Society’s framework for Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools. Our last inspection report can be accessed by clicking link below.

Clergy from Christ Church lead Collective Worship each week in school and we regularly visit Christ Church for worship services and to support our RE curriculum lessons.

Parents and children are very welcome to attend all services held at Christ Church, details of which can be found on their web site.
